Alfa Romeo 2.0L Billet Crank Trigger Wheel
This crank trigger is CNC machined from a 4130 Chromoly. The weak factory unit that is stamped and folded to generate the 60-2 fails with extended high RPM use. The teeth on the factory unit fatigue and fall off - leading to a no start condition. Our development vehicle with hybrid turbo, E85, and TCU software revs to 6700 rpm - making 390whp. We have experienced this crank trigger failure on our development vehicle twice - thus leading to the development of this part. IdealRace developed and designed this part in house from track testing, developing the platform, and racing what we sell.
Picture below is of a sad stock crank trigger wheel that has failed. This is what you don't want. Skibity-skibity tiolet trigger ya-heard?
*Installs on the end of the crankshaft - crankshaft removal from block required to install.*
